The Engineer Behind the Work

I'm an independent design engineer focused on helping hardware startups build first-time-right products. I've worked on high-precision systems in industries like semiconductor, batteries and MEMS, where tolerances are unforgiving, iteration is expensive, and design decisions have huge manufacturing consequences.

That experience shapes how I approach every project — thinking about tradeoffs between performance, reliability, and speed to market right from the start. I work with early-stage and venture-backed hardware teams to take products from concept to manufacturable reality.

I've seen where hardware projects fail: unclear requirements, over-engineered concepts, late-stage surprises in manufacturing. My approach is built to avoid that — through first-principles thinking, practical design tradeoffs, and close alignment with how things are actually built.

If you're building something ambitious and need engineering that moves fast without cutting corners, schedule a call to see if we're a good fit.
