ABOUT

I am a Mechanical Engineer based in Sunnyvale, CA and I currently work at the Office of the CTO at Applied Materials. I have always been fascinated by how things work and how they are made and am naturally drawn towards mechanical engineering. At Applied Materials, I work on the design and instrumentation of machines that will manufacture the next generation lithium based battery electrodes. Prior to Applied, I worked at ASML for approx. 4 years. ASML was my first job after graduating from MIT and it taught me a lot about what it takes to design, manufacture and release high tech precision equipment into production. For me, the most exciting stage of any design process is when you are able to close the loop between what you predict your design will do vs what it actually does. It is a real pleasure to witness designed products functioning well and as intended in the real world.
